Amazon Innovation Accelerator Small Business Growth Programme - Dartford

Are you a small business leader looking to grow your organisation? Want to understand new ways to adopt technologies and introduce a culture of innovation to your organisation, all in a supportive environment?

The Amazon Innovation Accelerator is an exclusive and free programme for small and medium sized businesses in Dartford, Kent which has been especially designed to help you innovate and grow your organisation. For the first time, Amazon will open its doors to its state-of-the-art Fulfilment Centre in Dartford to provide bespoke training to small & medium sized businesses, with the support of South East partners. Participation in the programme is entirely free.

Only 30 businesses will be successfully enrolled on to the Accelerator. Therefore, please register your interest in the programme via the instructions at the bottom of this page. Applications will close on Friday 6th September, and we may maintain a waiting list at this point.

Businesses participating in this 2-and-a-half-day training programme will benefit from the following:

· Practical training workshops addressing topics including leadership and management, continuous improvement and ways to encourage your team to adopt a growth mindset

· A site tour of Amazon’s fulfilment centre where live demonstrations of the latest technology being used and relevant learnings for businesses will be provided

· The sharing of best practice from Amazon on their approach towards adopting new technologies, making high velocity decisions and create a culture of innovation

· Virtual masterclass with guest speakers on topics including data, digitalisation and sustainability and social value

· An opportunity to network with other local businesses

How to Register?

To secure a spot in this exclusive programme, please register your interest via eventbrite. A member of the team will then be in touch to confirm your place. Your business also needs to nominate one senior representative from your organisation to complete all of the following activities:

1. Attend two in-person all-day workshops scheduled for 12th September and 4th October at Amazon’s Fulfilment Centre in Dartford. Please ensure you can attend both in-person workshops.

2. Participation in a virtual masterclass on 19th October from 10am – 12:30pm.

3. Completion of two e-surveys and be open to selection for one-to-one interview (virtually or at your premises). This will help us to better understand your organisations’ goals, challenges and evaluate your progress/benefits that you receive from the programme. The anonymised findings will be used to develop a report to further our understanding and ability to support small and medium enterprises in the South East region. In some instances, case studies will be developed (with your permission) that illustrate your journey through the Amazon Innovation Accelerator.
