Africa’s digital future is arriving fast. But are we building it fast enough and safely enough?
AI is transforming healthcare, agriculture, finance, education and research. Digital systems are connecting more people and creating new opportunities. Yet with every new connection comes a new responsibility: security, trust, ethics, resilience and inclusion.
That is why the conversation cannot be left to technology alone.
At #AMASA2026, African science academies, researchers, policymakers, innovators and partners will come together in Nairobi to explore what it will take to secure Africa’s digital transformation.
From AI for sustainable development to cybersecurity, digital resilience, governance, ethics, capacity and innovation, the question is not simply what can technology do?
It is:
What should technology do for Africa, and how do we make sure it works for everyone?
10 - 12 November 2026 | Nairobi, Kenya
The future is being coded. Let’s make sure Africa has a voice in the code.
