Amanda was chosen as one of The Diapason magazine’s Top 20 Under 30 in 2016, a feature that selects some of the most successful young artists in the field. In 2020, Amanda was a featured artist at the AGO National Organ Fest convention and in 2022 she performed at the 2022 AGO National Convention in Seattle, WA. Ms. Mole is completing a Doctor of Musical Arts degree as a student of David Higgs at the Eastman School of Music. During her time at Yale, Amanda studied organ with Martin Jean and Choral Conducting with Maggie Brooks, and was the only candidate in her class to receive the Church Music Studies Certificate for additional sacred music and theological studies. Prior to Yale, she obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with honors at Eastman while studying with William Porter. In January 2021, Amanda was appointed Principal Organist and Assisant Director of Music at St. Joseph Catholic Cathedral in Columbus, Ohio.

The café is a vibrant contemporary café located on the main floor of Columbus Museum of Art near the main entrance and looks out onto the Patricia M. Jurgensen Sculpture Garden. The café is open during all regular museum hours. Menu items change seasonally with an emphasis on local ingredients fresh interpretations of modern cuisine and rustic comfort foods.

CMA Executive Chef Laura Richmond is reimagining the dining experience and menu for Schokko Café. Richmond brings a farm-to-table approach to cooking with an emphasis on exploring fresh interpretations of modern cuisine rustic comfort foods and classic French cooking. Richmond most recently served as sous chef at Brio and was previously the executive chef at Westies Gastropub and sous chef at Cooper’s Hawk.
