Amanda Anne Platt and the Honeycutters like to call their music "Appalachian honky tonk."

They will be the second backyard show of the year on Friday Sept. 20.

Over seven albums, the North Carolina-based band has created nuanced music that veers from folk rock to country to tell Platt's stories.
