AMaGA SA Summer Social

Long thyme, no see! Join us for the blooming of the Australian Museums and Galleries Association South Australia 2023 Program at the Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

Be like the plants and come and soak up the evening sun and nutrients (aka grazing table and wine) at a relaxed Summer social. We'll be treated to a behind-the-scenes tour and talk from the Engagement team at the Botanic Gardens, highlighting the new Seeing the Invisible app. We'll have a chance to experience one of the world's most ambitious and expansive augmented reality (AR) art exhibitions, including include Ai Weiwei's jaw-dropping Gilded Cage, Daito Manabe's Morphecore Prototype as well as Australia's own Mel O'Callaghan's Pneuma and many more. The evening will be completed with networking drinks in the divine setting of the Gardens.

The Australian Museums and Galleries Association South Australia 2023 Program is a series of social, networking and professional development events for the SA Glam Sector. This event is open to AMaGA members, staff, volunteers and students in the SA cultural sector.
