About this Event
This December, AMA Tampa Bay is giving back!
Join us as we partner with Metropolitan Ministries for a special volunteer event at their annual Holiday Tent, where thousands of local families receive food, toys, and support during the holiday season.
We’re proud to be teaming up with another nonprofit doing incredible work in our community — and we invite all AMA members, marketers, students, and friends to come together and make a meaningful impact.
Spend a few hours helping distribute items, assisting families, organizing donations, and spreading holiday joy alongside your AMA Tampa Bay community!

The December General Tent Volunteer Opportunity is serving families throughout Tampa Bay with a full Christmas meal this holiday season. As part of that effort you will help on a variety of teams for this shift including but not limited to parking and greeting our guests, taking in donations from the community, and all aspects of the distribution of meals and Christmas toys for our guests. Please be flexible as after a brief orientation we will split up the volunteers for this shift according to the needs of the day.
Dress Code: Please be sure to wear CLOSED-TOE SHOES, and a shirt with sleeves (jeans and short sleeve t-shirts are great; no tank tops).
Check-In & Parking: Please report to the Volunteer Services area in the Holiday Tent. You can park in the Volunteer parking lot, look for parking attendants to direct you. Parking is extremely limited, so we highly encourage carpooling.
Personal Items: It is best to leave purses and electronics at home or out of sight in your trunk or another secure location while volunteering.
Minimum age: All volunteers must be 8 years old or older.
