There’s deep sophistication here: She’s musically fierce and confident while somehow remaining honest and vulnerable. Alyssa is not only a wonderful stylist with a strong ability to both interpret and improvise, she has also developed into a genuine composer, writing and delivering songs with melodic, harmonic and lyrical depth.
