**FRIDAY February 21, 2025Third Friday at The Artisan Market at 305 (305 E. Chapel Hill Street Durham 27703):
Public Reception 6 - 8pm: The store will host a special meet and greet with Aly Camara along with visual artists that are typically a part of Durham’s @thirdfriday event! Details with registration. Free.
**SATURDAY February 22, 2025
Classes are generally geared more towards the intermediate level; may be a push for some beginners (but doable) and just right for intermediate levels. There will be additional challenging bits and pieces for the more experienced players. All levels are welcome to join the classes!
8:45am – Registration / Sign In (note: our classes will be upstairs on the second floor, so arrive early to bring your drums)
9:15am - 10:45am – Djembe Class – all levels class!
11:00am - 12:30pm – Dunun Class – all levels class!
12:30pm - 1:45pm - Lunch
You may bring your lunch and eat in the class space. Alternatively, you may order something to be delivered from Chelsea Café. If interested, make your selections below. There are several eating establishments ten minutes away, but an hour and fifteen minutes might be challenging to park and get back in time for afternoon classes.
1:45pm - 3:15pm -- Ballet Dunun Class – all levels class!
3:30pm - 5:00pm – Performance Class (putting it all together) – This is a class that puts all the parts from a rhythm learned in earlier classes together (djembe, dunun, and ballet dunun). It is NOT a requirement to attend all earlier classes though it is geared to those that did. All are welcome and will get to participate in this amazing class!!!

We have a beautiful space on the second floor. There is no elevator. Free parking in a lot beside the building and overflow parking in the lot in back of the building.

7:00pm-until – Party at Karen & Arlen’s House
Pot luck – bring a dish to share if you are able and whatever you want to drink. Music on the porch or in the house depending on the weather.

• $90 if you take all 4 Saturday classes (no substitutions)
After Monday, Feb 17:
• $25 per class (5 classes available)
• Add $10 to your total
SATURDAY LUNCH OPTION: (Payment in Advance. Deadline February 17)
Indicate your choices on the registration form. Cost is $7 for half wrap and one side. You may also choose any 2 half wraps for $14. Chips and cookies provided.
WRAP CHOICES: Each comes with a pickle and a side.
____Mediterranean Chicken Wrap Grilled chicken, romaine, red onion, tomatoes, kalamata olives, feta cheese, hummus and basil vinaigrette dressing in a spinach wrap.
____Veggie Wrap Homemade hummus, spinach, tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, avocado, and cucumber in a spinach wrap.
____Chicken Ceaser Salad Wrap Our Chicken Caesar Salad rolled up in a spinach wrap.
