Always Children First: DLP In-Person Training

Dublin City Childcare Committee is running DLP Training for Designated Liaison Persons and Deputy Designated Liaison Persons in ELC and SAC services. This training will provide DLPs with additional guidance on their roles and responsibilities and will explore how DLPs communicate, respond to and report child safeguarding concerns.

Participants must have attended Always Children First: Foundation Training and must complete the Always Children First DLP eLearning module, which forms Part A of this training, prior to attending the Always Children First DLP Training in-person workshop. The DLP eLearning module should be completed within two weeks of the in-person workshop.

Booking Criteria:

• All participants must have attended the Always Children First: Child Safeguarding Awareness Foundation Level Training prior to attending this DLP in-person workshop.
• All participants must complete the Introduction to Children First E-Learning Programme prior to attending this DLP in-person workshop.
• All participants must complete the Always Children First DLP eLearning module, which forms Part A of this training, prior to attending the Always Children First DLP Training in-person workshop. The DLP eLearning module should be completed within two weeks of the in-person workshop.
• This training is open to those currently in DLP or Deputy DLP roles in Early Years and/or School Age Childcare Services.
• Booking is on a first come first served basis.
• Tickets are limited to two tickets per service.
