ALVR PRESENTS: THE UNCOMMON JEWEL at NYC Jewelry Week 2026

Join A La Vieille Russie for the opening-night preview of The Uncommon Jewel: Rare Materials, Remarkable Stories, a selling exhibition exploring the less familiar side of jewelry history. Spanning more than two centuries, the exhibition brings together jewelry and objects that reveal the many different ways materials, craftsmanship, technique, origin and the imagination of the maker can make a jewel uncommon.

This fall, A La Vieille Russie explores this less familiar side of jewelry history with The Uncommon Jewel: Rare Materials, Remarkable Stories, a selling exhibition on view November 17 through December 24 at the gallery’s 745 Fifth Avenue location, with an opening-night preview on November 16 during New York City Jewelry Week. Spanning more than two centuries, the exhibition brings together jewelry and objects that illustrate the many different ways materials have inspired jewelers and designers.
