The 22nd Annual Altrusa International of Copperas Cove, TX, Inc. Fall Golf Classic “Aiming for Literacy” will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at the Hills of Cove Golf Course. We anticipate a minimum participation of approximately 100 people, comprised of avid golfers, community leaders, business sponsors, and volunteers. On behalf of Altrusa of Copperas Cove m, TX, we invite you to partner with us in this year’s Fall Golf Classic.
Proceeds from this event are used to sponsor service projects, with a focus on literacy, throughout the Copperas Cove comumunity. These service projects include purchasing and distributing books to all local Head Start children as well as other primary grade level students in the Copperas Cove Independent School District, collecting and distributing new clothing for students in need, providing recreation and large print reading material for local nursing home residents and awarding scholarships to graduating seniors.
