‘Under the Kitchen Sink’ are a sublime jazz ensemble.
Led by Matt Davis, saxophinist, poet and spark, the crew have spent lifetimes of dedicated joy performing throughout the motu.
Pianist, John Bevan is like an encyclopedia of riﬀs and melodies. Bassist Russell Stedman brings calm, determination, and originality. Chris Searle, on drums, locks into any groove. Lisa Tui Aroha sings like greenstone ringing, like a tui can growl.
