Altin Gun in concert

Turkish alt-psych band Altin Gün are easy to fall in love with. The band, which hails from Amsterdam but comes from various backgrounds (Turkish, Indonesian, Dutch) create music that opens doors between traditional Turkish folk songs and psych.

The band draws from the rich and incredibly diverse traditions of Anatolian and Turkish folk music, with select elements of early 1980s Euro synth pop also shining through, and nurtured with the dreamy sound of the Omnichord.
