About this Event
Alternative, Goth, Punk and Rock styles and music have history found in the hands of BIPOC communities across the world. August 14th we gather to celebrate music creation origins in Africa, Mexico City's thriving Goth Scene, and the women on the forefront of breaking societal norms for the better in American culture.
Lets not lecture, lets dance!
Expect stylistic and artistic pole performances, a curated lineup of perfromance artists including live painters, fire spinners ( and eaters?), a DJ with afrobeat influence playing darkwave and post punk. Theres so much to do with ALTGOTH at Sahara Lux!
Enjoy african food, smoke some hookah, and maybe get the bottle girls some business!
