PLEASER
Pleaser is a punk band in both a strict and a loose sense of the term. Their musicality, ethics and community are undeniably punk, but their expression is vast and more personal than sub-genre-bound. The band projects the heart-on-the-sleeve of early emo, a catchy viciousness associated with original punk rock, a dark convolutedness of certain kinds of metal - and yet an earthiness and willingness to explore that harkens back to earlier forms of rock music and all the way up to a current experimental music scene. Songs being both catchy and impenetrable at the same time, appreciating a pop hook just as much as a labyrinthine song structure. Pleaser chews it all up and infuses it with their own noisy but charming melodic rattle.
Pleaser consists of two guitarists and double lead vocals fronted by Annie Nyvold and Suo Fei, drummer Oliver Nehammer and bassist Olle Bergholz. All members display a broad set of inspirations through their all-encompassing and omnivorous taste in music, and love for creative expression in general.

Tamara is a Copenhagen-based DJ drawn to all melancholic and feminine. She tends to blend house, trance and dub, but is mostly guided by vibe and feelings rather than genre. Her sets flow through emotion and movement, always seeking that sweet spot between weight and lift, wanting to move not only bodies, but also stir something beneath the surface.
Her background in suburban DIY culture, shaped by punk and dub, quietly lies beneath it all.
