Alternative Photography Workshop: Gel Transfers!
After a private event that was full of conversation and some seriously cool creations, we're excited to open our workshop series to the public.
Join us for a laid-back Saturday morning of creating, chatting, + learning. In this workshop, we’ll introduce you to acrylic gel transfers—a hands-on photographic technique that’ll let you bring your images into the physical world. Whether you're a pro artist or just looking to tap into your creative side, this session is all about experimenting in good company.
What to expect:
• All materials provided, though you're encouraged to bring your own (if you have any interesting surfaces you'd like to experiment with, bring them! e.g. thick paper, tin foil, tiles, wood, a beer can, etc.)
• After you buy a ticket, we'll ask you to send us a couple of the images you want to work with, and we'll take care of printing. You are also welcome to bring your own—just make sure to have them printed on a laser printer!
• Your ticket includes snacks + a coffee/drink from Café Olé
• You'll leave with your own awesome artwork and an arsenal of new skills!!!
Taller de Fotografía Alternativa: Transferencias con Gel
Después de un evento privado lleno de conversación y algunas creaciones realmente increíbles, estamos muy emocionados de abrir nuestra serie de talleres al público.
Acompáñanos para una mañana de sábado relajada de crear, charlar y aprender. En este taller te introduciremos a las transferencias con gel acrílico, una técnica fotográfica que te permitirá llevar tus imágenes al mundo físico. Tanto si eres un artista profesional como si simplemente quieres conectar con tu lado creativo, esta sesión está pensada para experimentar y pasarlo bien en buena compañía.
Qué puedes esperar:
• Todos los materiales están incluidos, aunque te animamos a traer los tuyos (si tienes superficies interesantes con las que te gustaría experimentar, ¡tráelas! Por ejemplo: papel grueso, papel de aluminio, azulejos, madera, una lata de cerveza, etc.)
• Después de comprar tu entrada, te pediremos que nos envíes un par de imágenes con las que quieras trabajar, y nosotros nos encargaremos de imprimirlas. También puedes traer las tuyas—¡solo asegúrate de que estén impresas con impresora láser!
• Tu entrada incluye snacks + un café o bebida de Café Olé
• Te irás con tu propia obra de arte y un montón de nuevas habilidades para seguir experimentando!!!
