Title: Altered Book Junk Journals & Eco-Printing with Locally Foraged Flora
Description:
In this workshop, participants will transform an old hardcover book into a handmade junk journal while learning eco-printing techniques on paper using locally foraged botanical materials.
We’ll explore botanical contact printing, mixed-media processes, and creative self-expression in a way that encourages mindfulness, sustainability, and community connection.
The workshop is funded through an Artist Projects Grant from the Greater Columbus Arts Council, so there is no cost to participants. I will provide all materials; the only thing participants will need to bring is an old hardcover book to use as the base for their journal.
This workshop is free, but space is limited to 10. Registration is required.
