What is a pawpaw, and why have most people never heard of it before?
In partnership with Trees Atlanta, join us in the Day Hall on Sept. 15 as writer and gardener Andrew Moore offers a brief history of the pawpaw, the largest edible fruit native to the United States, and offers some explanations as to why it has been overlooked in modern times.
*A pawpaw tasting will follow the Alston Lecture in the Day Hall and a book signing will take place in the courtyard near the gift shop.
