In celebration of International Women in Engineering Day, the Alstom Women of Excellence (AWE) Committee has the pleasure of inviting you to a site tour and afternoon tea at the St Georges Terrace office on Tuesday 23 June 2026.
Alstom are a global leader in sustainable mobility solutions and have been operating in Australia for over 100 years, delivering trains, trams, light rail, signalling technology, and maintenance across the country.
What’s on for the day?
Check out our CBTC (Computer-Based Train Control) signalling equipment lab, learn more about the facility on a lab tour followed by afternoon tea!
This is a great development opportunity for future engineers, particularly those studying electrical or mechanical engineering, and aims to acknowledge the contribution and achievements of women in the field of engineering and to raise awareness of challenges faced by women engineers.
