Alpha Gal Friendly Meal Prep Class

Looking for healthy take home meals? Look no further than your W Battlefield Rd Hy-Vee! We are offering our Simple Fix Meal Prep Class. Meals are carefully and meticulously created by Hy-Vee's Registered Dietitian Audrey. We do all of the planning, shopping and clean-up, too. All you do is show up to class at your W Battlefield Rd Hy-Vee to make your your meals and bring them home to cook/freeze. When you're ready to cook, prepare each meal with the instructions we have provided. It's as simple as that!

These Alpha Gal Friendly recipes are generally healthy combinations that are focused around alpha gal safe recipes. Recipes will emphasize poultry, fish, whole grains, beans/legumes, fruits, vegetables, and alpha gal friendly subsitutes.

CLASS INSTRUCTIONS: Please come to the Club Room at 1720 W Battlefield Rd (Hy-Vee). The club room is situated between deli and bakery. If you have any troubles finding the room, please ask customer service to direct you. Please arrive at 6PM to make sure you have enough time to assemble all 5 meals. You will make 5 meals, each meal having 4-6 servings. Meals will be set up at tables as stations with everything you may need. Recipes will be available at each table to help guide you through the process. Meals will be assembled in double-bagged gallon freezer bags. Once you are done, there will be Hy-Vee paper bags for you to place your meals in. All these meals are pre-paid, so you are free to leave once you are done! Some individuals may not need all 90 minutes, which is okay. The dietitian or dietitian assistant will be present at all times to assist you at any point.

We understand that unplanned issues can come up and you may not be able to attend an event you have purchased a ticket for. If that happens, we respectfully ask for tickets to be cancelled at least 48 hours before the event. Any tickets cancelled before the 48-hour deadline will be refunded in full in accordance with Eventbrite's cancellation policy. Cancellations made within the 48-hour window before the event cannot be refunded. We thank you for being a valued Hy-Vee customer and for your understanding and cooperation as we institute this policy.
