The Adi Ganga flowed from Kolkata through Garia, Boral, Rajpur, Harinavi and Baruipur before reaching Gangasagar. This was the main channel of the Ganges till the Hooghly came into being. Most of these places are within the district of South 24 Parganas, which is the largest district of West Bengal by area and second largest by population.
Kolkata Explorers will take you on a curated tour covering Baruipur, Rajpur, Subhasgram & Harinavi to share with you the stories of the past. The tour will take you to some old residential houses of the wealthy class who had settled here, temples relating to Sundarbans, ancestral house of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, cultural places in Harinavi and end with evening arati at Maa Bipadtarini Mandir (Rajpur).
Our Car will start from Parama Island (opposite Science City) on EM Bypass at 8am and take the route straight down EM Bypass to Baruipur. Guests booking this trip will be picked up and dropped back on this route only.

BREAKFAST ON THE WAY. WE DISCOURAGE THE USE OF SINGLE USE PLASTIC PET BOTTLES AND AS SUCH REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE CARRY YOUR OWN DRINKING WATER IN REUSABLE BOTTLES WHICH CAN BE REFILLED AT THE NOOK.
FOR WASHROOM, REST & LUNCH WE HAVE HIRED A FLOOR AT THE NEWLY RESTORED CENTURY OLD PROPERTY - "THE NOOK" 2nd FLOOR, OF PRITI HOMESTAY, BARUIPUR. LUNCH WILL BE HOME COOKED AND FRESH TO BE SERVED BY TWO YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS.
EXCLUSIONS:
1. Any usage of any other mode of transport other than what is provided
2. Any usage of mineral water
3. Any tips to anybody
4. Any additional beverages or snacks or food consumed other than what is provided in package
6. Any entry tickets or any ride charges
7. Any local guide charges
8. Any other charges outside the package.
CHARGES:
Rs 3250/- per person (minimum group size of 5 persons and maximum group size 11 persons)
DISCLAIMER:
Although we provide our best of services, we will not take any responsibility for any car mechanical problems, electricity fluctuations or power cuts at The Nook in Baruipur. No adjustments in rates will be made in such eventuality.
