Along Came Betty Brings Classic Hard-Bop to Wave Street Studios

Get ready for an unforgettable night of live jazz as Along Came Betty, therenowned jazz quintet, takes the stage at the charming Wave Street Studios. On Sunday 7pm February 9.

The group performed at the Monterey Jazz Festival 5 times and are slated to perform this year as closing act on the Garden Stage.

The band will perform a dynamic set blending original hard-bop compositions with beloved jazz standards from the 50s and 60s.

Founded by drummer Patrick Tregenza, Along Came Betty brings together some of the finest musicians on the scene, including co-founding members Brian Stock on trumpet, Pete Lips onbass, and long-time members, Paul Tarentino on saxophone, and Bill Spencer on piano. The evening promises to be a celebration of rhythm, improvisation, and classic jazz at its finest.

Hard-bop jazz is all about melody, harmony, improvisation, and we’re excited to be returning to Wave Street Studios,says Tregenza. It’s one of our favorite places to play and is a perfect setting for an intimate, high-energy evening of music.

Doors open at 6pm for cocktails, local beer and wine. Wave Street Studios is an all ages live music venue established in 2008.
