Pianist and composer Alon Nechushtan has collaborated with jazz greats including William Parker, Don Byron, Donny McCaslin, Bob Moses, Ben Allison, John Ellis, Chris Cheek, Chris Speed, Mark Helias, Mark Dresser, Andrew Cyrile, Kenny Wollesen, Ben Goldberg, Daniel Carter, Ned Rothenberg, Robert Dick, Steve Swell, Dan Weiss, Francois Moutin, Bob Gulotti, John Lockwood, and Ken Filiano.
A resident of New York City, Alon has performed in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, Central Park Summer Stage, The Blue Note Jazz Club, and the Kennedy Center. His musical adventures have brought him to Yokohama, Manila, Sao-Paolo, Toronto, Montreal, and Tel Aviv.
In October 2015 the Kennedy Center comissioned a piece for the Billy Strayhorn Centennial Celebration, followed by a Far East tour in China and the Phillipines, along with Jazz Festivals in Brazil and Israel. In 2017 the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C commissioned a new program of Thelonious Monk’s less known compositions.

Composer and woodwind multi-instrumentalist Sheldon Brown has been involved in the San Francisco Bay Area creative music scene for over 20 years. In June of 2014 he premiered his extended composition "Blood of the Air" at the 32nd Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival.
Since 1994 he has led Sheldon Brown Group, which performs his own compositions, and he recently formed Sheldon Brown Quintet, which performs the music of Herbie Nichols, and Distant Intervals, based on poetic speech melodies.
The Sheldon Brown Group has performed several times at Yoshiʼs, and as part of the San Francisco Jazz Festivalʼs Summer in the City series.
Brown has performed with Cuban pianist Omar Sosa, recorded on 5 of Sosaʼs albums, and played with him at many famous venues, such as The North Sea Jazz Festival in Den Haag, New Morning in Paris, and Tribute to the Love Generation in Tokyo.
Brown performs with many groups in the Bay Area, including: Electric Squeezebox Orchestra, Clarinet Thing, Darren Johnston Quintet, Goldberg/Brown/Anderson, Ian Carey Quintet + 1, Club Foot Orchestra, Laurie Antonioli, Azesu (featuring Orestes Vilato), Mike Pattonʼs Mondo Cane, Admiral Ted Brinkley's Large Group, and the Aaron Germain Quartet.

Matt Montgomery is a bassist who currently lives in San Francisco.
In the jazz world, he has performed or recorded with Faye Carol, Calvin Keys, Larry Coryell, Mark Levine, Donald Bailey, Phil Ranelin, and many others.
His work with notable indie/rock/folk songwriters such as Cass McCombs, Adam Stephens, Kacey Johansing, Hélène Renaut, Greg Ashley, and Will Sprott has found him recording and touring throughout North America and Europe, including working with Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli on Adam Stephen’s 2010 album We Live on Cliffs, for Saddle Creek Records.
He has numerous other album credits as both performer and composer and has done scoring work for several films, including the David Schendel-directed documentary Enduring Democracy: The Monterey Petition, released in 2022.

Since relocating from Chicago to San Francisco, drummer Greg Wyser-Pratte quickly became one of the area’s most in-demand drummers, performing regularly as a member of the Christian Tamburr Quartet, and with vocalist Paula West.
Recent highlights from Greg's associations include major US jazz and blues festivals and European tours with musicians such as Rene Marie, Clint Holmes, and Dominick Farinacci.
In addition to his live performances, Greg is in high demand in the studio, and has received critical acclaim for his appearances on 25 full-length albums.
Greg is an avid educator with over 25 years of teaching experience.
