Join us for a special holiday gathering as ALMOST HOME hosts an inspiring Holiday Impact Screening at the iconic Mr Brainwash Art Museum.
We invite you to an evening of art, impact, and community as we honor Veterans and their families, uplift our film community, and celebrate all who champion social impact storytelling.
Presented by ALMOST HOME, this holiday program features a curated block of social impact short films, including THE MAGIC TICKET (directed by Yelena Krivosheyeva), a moving narrative centered on MST and the realities faced by unhoused Veterans.The evening leads into our spotlight screening of ALMOST HOME, directed by Menhaj Huda (Heist 88, NAACP Image Award Winner).
About the Film:
ALMOST HOME is a powerful narrative drama exploring resilience, belonging, and the long road to healing. The story follows a Muslim American veteran navigating PTSD, faith, and identity upon returning home, a deeply moving reflection on what it truly means to find one’s way back.
