Cameron Crowe’s semi-autobiographical love letter to rock music centers on William Miller (Patrick Fugit), a high school student who lands an unlikely assignment with Rolling Stone. Traveling with the band Stillwater, William is swept into the excesses, temptations, and freedoms of the 1970s rock scene—learning as much about himself as the music.
Kassie Hilgert
Kassie Hilgert is the President and Chief Executive Officer of ArtsQuest, one of Pennsylvania’s largest nonprofit arts organizations. Since 1984, ArtsQuest has presented more than 4,500 concerts, exhibitions, and educational programs each year, with nearly 40 percent offered free to the community. Hilgert joined ArtsQuest in 2008 as Vice President of Advancement, became Senior Vice President of Marketing and Advancement in 2010, and was unanimously appointed President and CEO in 2014 following a national search.
A graduate of Penn State University and Georgetown’s Nonprofit Executive Certification Program, she brings extensive expertise in marketing, development, and community engagement, with prior roles at Air Products, Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network, and Medstar Television. Beyond ArtsQuest, Hilgert serves on several regional boards, including Discover Lehigh Valley, the PNC Regional Advisory Board, Lehigh Valley Partnership, Cedar Crest College President’s Advisory Council, and the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation. Her leadership has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Athena Leadership Award, City & State Pennsylvania’s Above & Beyond Women Award, the Girl Scouts Take the Lead Award, and the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce Priscilla Payne Hurd Award.
