About this Event
The EmpowerHER Series is a gathering for women(and allies!!) in business, focused on personal and professional growth. Each session features a speaker offering actionable insights, ensuring you leave with steps to implement and a supportive community to grow with. Inspired by the need for a consistent network for women and underrepresented founders, this series was created to foster connection, share knowledge, and build together.

"How can I stand in solidarity with Black women?"
Whether you've ever asked yourself this question or voiced it to your Black peers,(or haven't, that's okay too!) you don't want to miss this. Allyship for Black women requires more than good intentions—it demands action, understanding, and a commitment to challenging systemic inequities. In this session, we’ll explore how to engage in meaningful allyship with Black women. During this interactive session, we will recognize the unique experiences and challenges that Black women face in the workplace and learn actionable steps that can ensure a more inclusive workplace experience. Together, we’ll unpack the complexities of allyship and discuss ways to create meaningful change in our communities and workplaces. Whether you're just beginning your allyship journey or looking to deepen your impact, this workshop will provide valuable insights and tools that will prepare you to be a better ally to Black women.
Kick-off 2025 with Cindu Thomas-George on February 13th for an inspiring and impactful session on why allyship for Black women must stay front and center. Don’t miss this opportunity to start the year with purpose and drive meaningful change!
