The Urban Perinatal Education Center is hosting a documentary screening of Allowed to Birth with guest, Kristine Lauria. We are honor the work of our local Community Midwives during Midwifery Week and our effort through the strategy plan of the Rhode Island Midwifey Equity Initiative. We hope by attending this screening it elevates the efforts of equity and accessibility, showcasing the knowledge and skills of out of hospital birth and local Midwives.
