The Prairie Center celebrates Alligator Records’ 50th anniversary with three of the label’s most acclaimed artists on one bill. Guitarist Nick Moss is “pure blues at its most urgently expressive. A rollicking tour de force” (Living Blues) while Toronzo Cannon gets praise for his “razor-sharp guitar and compelling, forceful singing” (Chicago Tribune). Rounding out the show is 3-time Grammy Award nominee Billy Branch, who “deserves every accolade he gets” as “current master of Chicago blues harp.” (Blues Blast Magazine).
