Monthly budget-friendly cooking classes focused on simple, healthy meals, big flavour and practical money-saving skills.
Join us for the August session of Allens Cross Cooking Club, where we'll be creating a delicious Mediterranean-inspired summer sharing platter using simple, affordable ingredients that are perfect for picnics, lunches and entertaining.
This month's session is all about discovering how easy it is to make fresh, homemade favourites from scratch while saving money - plus free key ingredients to take home!
In this session, we'll be making:
🥣 Creamy homemade hummus
🫓 Soft two-ingredient yoghurt flatbreads
🧀 Hot honey & sesame halloumi
Perfect for anyone wanting to:
- Learn affordable new recipes
- Cook healthy meals on a budget
- Try something new from scratch
- Pick up practical cooking skills
- Meet others in the community
No previous cooking experience needed.

This session is FREE to attend, but booking is essential as places are limited. Booking helps us prepare enough ingredients and ensure everyone has a space.
Sessions are funded by Building Greener Communities, helping local residents develop practical cooking skills, save money, reduce food waste and make more sustainable choices.
