Drakkari Williams work combines surrealism, cartoons and symbols that convey humor and seriousness in equal measure. He started painting as a way to navigate a challenging period of his life. The work carries a sharpness of clarity, and a density and weightlessness that seem contradictory, but work together seamlessly. Like listening to people discuss something important in a foreign language, you can guess meaning or simply experience the musicality and intensity of the words.“ So now I have a collection of paintings I want to share with the world."
