We'll have games out and a movie on if you want to grab from pancakes and hang around.Why pancakes? This tradition goes back hundreds of years in Britain and many other countries. Fat Tuesday, or Shrove Tuesday, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. Shrove Tuesday was the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before embarking on the Lenten fast and pancakes are the perfect way of using up these ingredients. Today this tradition lives on in this sweet, indulgent meal!
