Northern Sky firearms training LLCOur Women’s Only CT pistol permit class is designed for beginners. The class starts with basic firearms safety, progresses through the fundamentals for shooting for the beginners and ends in actual shooting on the indoor range. The class is taught by a certified NRA female instructor. She will teach you the rules of handgun safety, how to load and unload, how to operate each function and how to correctly shoot your handgun. This class also satisfies the requirements needed to obtain your CT pistol permit

Looking to get your Connecticut pistol
Course topics include: gun safety rules, proper operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, ammunition knowledge and selection, pistol selection and storage, shooting fundamentals, pistol inspection and maintenance, marksmanship, and shooting range safety. Additionally, students will complete live fire training and a nationally standardized shooting qualification while on the range with an NRA Certified Instructor. Students will receive the NRA Guide: Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, take a Basics of Pistol Shooting Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.

WHAT TO WEAR:
1.Do NOT wear low cut shirts. No open toed shoes/sandals or high heels.
2.We teach the Basic Pistol Permit Course required by the State of Connecticut.
This gun class is the first step in obtaining your pistol permit, and we will provide support through the process including after the class, if necessary.
