Bring Dad out to the Museum on the Saturday before “his” day, and let him revv up his motor! Check out antique tractors, hit-and-miss engines and early diesel engines, Model A and Model T cars, and even a Fire Truck! Take a ride behind our diesel engine-powered locomotive, looping around our 15 acre railyard. Enjoy great local food and concessions as well as Turntable Demonstrations and our own mascot, Spike the Railroad Dog! Activities and train rides all take place between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m., with the Museum grounds open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Admission: $10 adults, $5 ages 2-17, $8 seniors ages 60+. Free for Museum members and children under age 2.
Train Rides: $4 adults, $2 ages 2-17. Free for Museum members & children under age 2.
Know Before You Go: Masks are currently required to gain entry to the Museum Depot building an onboard train rides. Masks can be removed outdoors when groups are socially distanced. We recommend purchase of admission and train ride tickets in advance, as our overall Museum and Train Ride capacities have been reduced for the time being.
