On Saturday, September 28 from 5-9pm, the Midnight Sun will transform for its every 4th Saturday ALL THE TEA party produced by former Mr. SF Leather Gary Virginia. He's pulling out all stops with Bay Area singer/songwriter Gypsy Love headlining to include her latest hit, "All Lit Up."Legendary San Francisco-based DJ Steve Fabus will take guests on a disco/house odyssey from happy hour to sunset. Spicing up the dance floor stage will be Flagger Josh Spaulding while Go Go Dancers Coco Diamond & Emerson Silva (recently voted Best Go Go Dancer), sizzle atop the bar.
Nowhere else will locals and visitors find 2 for 1 Call & Well cocktails and NO cover for indoor/outdoor partying in the Castro, with an option for food delivery from adjacent Hot Johnnie's. A purely enchanting Singer/Songwriter/Bellydancer and Stargazer, Gypsy Love makes magic wherever she goes. Growing up, her musical influences spanned the spectrum from soulful funk and classic rock to world fusion, hip-hop, and disco. A native San Franciscan, she drew endless inspiration from the city’s diverse artistic electricity — especially in the SOMA district during the height of San Francisco’s underground House music scene. Steve Fabus' DJ career spans almost the entire history of the profession and art form itself. He was one of the first nationally recognized US DJs from the West Coast, who began his career playing loft parties and undergrounds of late '70s San Francisco. His hometown of Chicago and time in New York have largely influenced him with the roots of disco, house and techno in all their variations, and he applies it to all the contemporary music he plays today.
In his long career, Steve's held residencies in SF, NYC and LA, and has done guest spots in Chicago, NYC, LA, Seattle, Philadelphia, Miami, Houston, Fire Island, Palm Springs and other US cities. Across the pond, he's played in London at Horse Meat Disco and Dalston Superstore, in Berlin at Cocktail d'Amore and in Glasgow at Sub Club.
