🕯️ **ALL SOULS DAY CANDLELIGHT BLESSING MANDEVILLE CEMETERY 2026** 🕯️
**Monday, November 2, 2026 • 7:00 PM**
✨ **Volunteers are needed beginning at 4:00 PM!** ✨
Please join us for a beautiful evening of **remembrance, prayer, renewed friendship, and fellowship** as we light approximately **4,000 candles throughout the cemetery in honor of our deceased loved ones.** ❤️🙏
Bring your family and friends — **children are especially welcome!** 👨👩👧👦
🥤 Free drinks and snacks will be available for the children.
### 🕯️ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
We need lots of helping hands to make this beautiful evening possible!
**Candle Dropping:** Begins at **4:00 PM**
**Candle Lighting:** Begins around **5:45–6:00 PM**
📍 **Meet at the Gazebo**
Candles will be provided, and we will have some lighters available. If you have a **fireplace-style lighter**, please bring it with you.
🔦 **Please bring a flashlight** if you have one. Parts of the cemetery are very dark, and the ground can be uneven, so please watch your step.
🎓 **SERVICE HOURS AVAILABLE!**
Service hours are available for students from **all area schools**, as well as for **Confirmation service hours**.
### 🗑️ CLEANUP VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
**Tuesday, November 3, 2026 • 8:00 AM**
We also need volunteers to help collect the candles the following morning.
Please bring a **large garbage bag** and begin picking up candles throughout the cemetery. No supervision is necessary — simply come out and lend a hand!
Last time, with so many wonderful volunteers helping, we were able to finish cleanup in about **three hours!** 👏
If possible, please take your bag of collected candles home for disposal so we don't overwhelm the cemetery garbage cans.
🙏 **THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT!**
This **FREE community event is open to the public**, and everyone is welcome.
Sponsored by the **Knights of Columbus, OLL and MQP**, and hosted by **Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church / City of Mandeville**.
📞 **Questions or comments?**
