All Skills Volleyball Camp at USI

The All Skills Camp is tailored for girls entering grades 5-12 in Fall 2026, offering an opportunity to learn, refine, and elevate their volleyball skills through focused training. Key skills covered include serving, passing, setting, attacking, and digging/defense. The camp will feature two training sessions each day, along with a camp t-shirt for all participants. If you’re joining back-to-back sessions, please bring a packed lunch and snacks to stay fueled throughout the day.
July 14th | 9:00am - 11:30am – Defense
This session is designed to develop the essential skills every backrow defender needs. Campers will build confidence and become more aggressive in their defensive play. The focus will be on defensive mechanics, footwork, and court positioning, helping players read the game effectively. Through drills, demonstrations, and extensive repetitions, campers will refine their skills and gain a deeper understanding of defense. Participants will be grouped by skill level, ensuring each camper is appropriately challenged and has the opportunity to improve.
July 14th | 1:00pm - 3:00pm – Serving and Passing
This session is designed to develop the essential skills every server and passer needs to succeed. This session will focus on arm-swing mechanics, hand contact, and campers will be exposed to the various types of serving techniques. Campers will also gain the confidence and aggression necessary to become strong passers. The focus will be on passing mechanics, ball contact, footwork, and court positioning. Through drills, demonstrations, and plenty of repetitions, campers will refine their skills and knowledge. Participants will be grouped by skill level to ensure they are appropriately challenged and able to improve throughout the session.
July 15th | 9:00am - 11:30am – Setting and Attacking
This session is designed to build essential skills for both setting and attacking. For attacking, the focus will be on footwork, arm swing, and strategic execution. For setting, we’ll emphasize setting techniques, footwork, and game strategy specifically for setters. Additionally, the session will address the ability of back-row players to set out-of-system balls. Campers will be grouped based on skill level, ensuring that each participant is both challenged and supported as they develop their abilities.
July 15th | 1:00pm - 3:00pm – Competition
Campers will get to play volleyball games and compete. Short court, Doubles, Triples, 6’s and more!
