As we approach the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, it's important to acknowledge that the current struggle for our rights is not new, and in fact, has a long history.
To recognize the resistance leaders in our past and celebrate the progress we have seen, Indivisible Highlands and Beyond invites you to a special free event on Saturday, June 27th at Theatre N in downtown Wilmington. We will view "Voices of a People's History of the United States", a 90-minute film in which actors and musicians bring to life the words and music of 20 great rebels, dissenters, and visionaries from our past. After the film, there will be a lively 30-minute group discussion of the film and its relevance to our current work.
