About this Event

Join us in person for this all-Island conference on stroke taking place on Monday 19th October 2026 in Croke Park, Dublin, bringing together healthcare professionals from across Ireland and Northern Ireland to reflect on past achievements, examine current practice, and the future of stroke care.

Emphasising interprofessional teamwork, the conference welcomes clinicians, researchers, rehabilitation specialists, policymakers, and community partners to learn from one another and foster integrated approaches to stroke prevention, acute care, and life after stroke.

The Irish Heart Foundation is organising the event working with partners north and south including the Northern Ireland Multidisciplinary Association of Stroke Teams (NIMAST), the Stroke Association of Northern Ireland, Northern Ireland Chest, Heart and Stroke (NICHS), Cork Stroke Support and Croí.
