All Hallows' Swing

Welcome back to your favorite holiday party!
Come to Ani's Day & Night to enjoy some delicious food, drink, and warm welcome. Enjoy the music of two of the very best bands in town, Rent Party and The Relevators. Sport this year's Halloween costume. And honor your dearly departed with song, dance, remembrance and joy.
The party starts at 6pm with a beginner dance lesson from Four On The Floor (the incomparable Matt Jones and Laura Malloy).
7pm finds you captivated by the macabre melodies and howling harmonies of Rent Party
At 8:15pm we'll have a costume contest. Strut your spooky stuff on the creepy catwalk. Bonus points for vintage/jazz inspired costumery! Followed by a ghoulish performance by Austin Shag Jam!
The Relevators take the stage at 8:45pm with a full set of music from the dark side, tales of woe, songs to celebrate the season.
Through the whole evening, we'll make space for all to remember, grieve, celebrate, and honor their loved ones.
Please feel very welcome to participate in building a shared memory altar over the course of the night by bringing a memento that reminds you of a lost loved one. It can be something small (definitely not irreplaceable!), something from nature, a picture, a note, or another special object that brings a person or memory to mind. If you don’t have an object to bring, we will provide a way for you to add a memory to the shared space. There will be a collective moment at the beginning of the Relevators set to sit together with a song to honor our dear departed.
