Instructor Allison Broaddrick is hosting an all Female PADI Rescue Diver course. The rescue course is one of the few courses where students have get up close and personal with another diver who is impersonating a victim. Due to the close proximity of this course, we have found that some female divers feel far more comfortable taking the course with other women.
We hope that providing this as an option for our dive community will show our dedication to reducing barriers for women in diving and we look forward to seeing you all at Gilboa for the Haunted Quarry!
This weekend will also include an all female fun dive for those interested. We will have other instructors on site who would love to teach a rescue course or any other continuing education course to anyone who feels this female only course isn't for them!
We will be setting up a separate pool session (included) and an EFR course (sold separately) prior to open water training at Gilboa Quarry. If you enroll in the Rescue program before the end of September, Splash is offering 50% off your EFR course.
