Following the massive success of last year's Christmas special jewellery workshops - I'm delighted to offer more both in number and in variety, this year!There's no better way to build up that Christmas cheer than to immerse yourself in a full day of festive jewellery making! This year, I'm running 4 exclusive workshops to do just that.
Seglass Lovers Workshop
(Saturday 30th November and Saturday 21st December)
During the 'Seaglass Lovers' workshops, in small group sizes of up to 6 people, I'll guide you and teach you everything you need to know on the day to make not one, not two but THREE pieces of jewellery to include:
1 pair of sterling silver seaglass earrings
1 double ended seaglass cuff bracelet made of sterling silver
A trio of sterling silver stacking rings
All in your choice of design - images as guidance
Gemstone Lovers Workshop
(Saturday 7th December, Friday 20th December)
During the 'Gemstone Lovers' workshops, in small group sizes of up to 6 people, I'll guide you and teach you everything you need to know on the day to make not one, but TWO pieces of jewellery to include:
1 Gemstone bezel set ring or pendant (a selection of Australian opal, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Amethyst or Mother of Pearl cabochon stones will be available for you to choose from)
1 pair of fine silver earrings
All in your choice of design - images as guidance
During the day, you’ll design your own makes, learn to size, cut and file metal, form metal using professional jewellers tools, solder, and then finish your pieces.
It’s a wonderfully fun day of making, all from the comfort of my fully equipped, beautiful light and airy professional studio workshop, with an extremely Christmassy twist! Aside from the jewellery itself, it’ll be a day of Christmas music, twinkling lights, Christmas decorations, mince pies, turkey and stuffing sandwiches (with vegetarian options available) and good cheer by the stocking load!
Each participant will go home feeling truly festive (and possibly exhausted!) with three exquisite and unique pieces of jewellery. Gift boxes will be provided should you choose to gift your makes.
The timings are 10am - 6pm and refreshments and facilities are provided throughout the day.
All guidance, tools, materials, lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day. All you need to bring is your Christmas cheer and be ready for some fun!
Please note: The minimum age for this workshop is 12 due to the use of extreme heat and chemicals and children under 16 to be accompanied by a participating adult, please.
Cancellations and Refunds
*There is a £50 non refundable deposit included in the price due to the limited number of workshops and spaces available.*
*Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the date of the workshop are refundable minus the £50 non refundable deposit
*Cancellations made within 6 weeks of the date of the workshop will be refunded 50% of the course fee*
*Cancellations made within 4 weeks of the date of the workshop are non refundable, but please contact me and I will do everything I can do find an alternative suitable date for you to attend*
*If for any reason you can't attend your booked date, please contact me and I will do everything I can do find an alternative suitable date for you to attend, even if this means creating an additional workshop date*
