The first ALL- AGES Bike Ride of the year rolls out on Sunday April 21 at 10:30. Meet with neighbors and friends at the North Four Corners Local Park, 211 Southwood Avenue. You will find us at large grassy area between the tennis courts and the large playground.
Bring your trusty bike and joins us for pre-ride coffee & donuts and treats at 10am courtesy of the NFCCA (Northwood Four Corners Civic Association).
We will roll out at 10:30 for an approximate 4 miles ride at a leisurely pace with music along the route.
Bear in mind that this event is designed for all cyclists — the young, the young-at-heart, and the future cyclists as well — so please bring your bike, bike-trailer, tow-along bike, cargo bike, e-bike, child seat, unicycle, tandem bike, penny-farthing, etc., to cycle along with the even-younger neighbors. After all, this will be a slow-paced adventure.
Lastly, we have a couple of rules to keep us as safe as possible: kids should ride their bicycles along and to the right of their responsible adult to keep our younger riders at safe distance of the vehicular traffic, we also ask to not ride ahead of the leader volunteer wearing neon vest at the front of the group, and please wait for the green light and the go-ahead to cross University and Dennis as a group.
The route: we start our 4 miles ride at around 10:30 with a warm up loop around the park.

We leave the park on Royalton Rd
Left on Dennis Ave
Right at Gilmoure Dr
Left at Dryden St
Right at Sligo Creek Parkway (remember this section of Sligo Creek will be closed to vehicles)
U turn on Sligo before reaching University Blvd
-Short break at Sligo Creek Park to regroup and to use porta potty.
Left at Dryden St
Right at Gilmoure Dr
Left at Dennis Ave
Right at Royalton
Left to re enter the park
One last cool down loop around the park
And we are done! Time to hang and play.
