A donation-based workshop
Art in Session welcomes professional videographer & photographer Sam Medina for an informative, real-world workshop focused on what it actually takes to shoot on tour.
This session is for creatives who want to work in live music, festivals, and touring environment, and do it sustainably.
We’ll cover:
• Photo + video workflows on the road
• Gear that truly travels (and survives tour life)
• Shooting fast, dark, unpredictable shows
• Building trust with artists & crews
• Turning tours into consistent, paid work
About the instructor:
Sam Medina is a touring photographer and videographer with 10+ years of experience on the road. He’s worked with artists including NF, Dan + Shay, GRiZ, Rebelution, and many more—capturing the story behind the stage and beyond the spotlight. Sam is passionate about teaching creatives how to shoot with intention and navigate the business side of touring.
