A lifelong admirer of Billy Joel, David's journey began at the age of six when he first picked up the piano. But it was at age 10, when The Stranger album was released, that his life was truly transformed. This iconic album ignited his passion and set him on a path to becoming a fixture in the Long Island and New York music scene. Since 1985, David has been performing throughout the Northeastern Tri-State area, earning a solid reputation as a skilled piano player, talented vocalist, and engaging performer at both private events and large concerts.
Over the years, David’s love for Joel’s music has grown stronger, and it was only natural that he would eventually craft a tribute show to honor his childhood hero. His performances are filled with stunning renditions of Joel’s timeless hits, and he connects with audiences not only through his musical skill but also through his wit and humor—just like Billy Joel himself.
David has had the rare privilege of performing alongside former members of Billy Joel’s legendary recording and touring bands. In 2013, he took part in the reunion show "LONG, LONG TIME," which recreated the historic 1972 WMMR Philadelphia Sigma radio concert, featuring bassist Larry Russell, drummer Rhys Clark, and guitarist Don Evans. Additionally, in 2014, David performed as the lead singer and piano player at the Long Island Music Hall of Fame induction of the Lords of 52nd Street, the band that played alongside Billy Joel for decades. David toured as their lead vocalist from 2014 to 2020, sharing the stage with saxophonist Richie Cannata, guitarist Russell Javors, and drummer Liberty DeVitto.
Today, David continues to bring the magic of Billy Joel’s music to life through "ALL ABOUT JOEL," a tribute that has become a must-see for fans of the Piano Man. When he’s not on stage, David lives in New Jersey with his wife, Smooth Jazz trumpet sensation Cindy Bradley, and their five dogs.
