The talk will focus on Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds. We will learn about hummingbird characteristics, nesting habits, feeding habits, hummingbird feeders, migration, and more!
The talk will be presented by Mark Pierson. He has been an NRV Master Naturalist since 2013. He is also a member of the New River Valley Bird Club and the Virginia Native Plant Society New River Chapter. He also recently became a Flora of Virginia Ambassador.
