Come learn all about these classic holiday plants! Amaryllis can be intimidating, requiring forced dormancy to bloom in subsequent years. But they're stunning plants that don't have to be mystifying. Some types even make great year-round houseplants! Come learn all about amaryllis care, including dormancy, fertilizing, propagating and what the heck to do with those waxed bulbs you got as a gift. We'll also talk about using amaryllis as cut flowers and the variety of species suitable for home culture. I'll have a great selection of unusual amaryllis for sale, because that's how we roll down at Garden Sage headquarters.
Cost is $10 per person, and everyone will leave with instructions for all manner of amaryllis care.
