Join us on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at the Johnstown Amtrak Station as we celebrate the arrival of the second daily Pennsylvanian train service!
The community is invited to gather starting at 1:30 PM and welcome the train when it arrives at 2:35 PM. The event will include complimentary cupcakes, cookies, and refreshments; giveaway items for kids and Amtrak swag; Chopper-the Johnstown Tomahawks’ mascot; and “passengers” in period attire; and remarks by community representatives. Free and open to everyone!
This expanded service means more connections for visitors traveling to Johnstown and more travel options for residents heading to destinations throughout Pennsylvania and beyond.
Help us celebrate this exciting addition to our community's transportation network! Bring your enthusiasm and join us in welcoming this new chapter for Johnstown and Cambria County.
