On Monday, January 26, Cone Park welcomes anyone with a disability and their caregivers to come out and enjoy the tubing hill, ice skating rink, and warming lodge. Snow Shoeing will be provided by Special Olympics Iowa and SC Knights. Indoor and outdoor activities will be provided along with crafts and games in the lodge. There will be staff on hand to provide any additional assistance. Protection precaution equipment such as helmets and elbow pads are not provided. Feel free to bring any assistive equipment such as slide boards, lifts, or any other equipment that would assist with using the hill and ice skating rink. Hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.
Anyone 5 years and up are welcome, but limited spots are available so please RSVP by emailing [email protected] to reserve your spot. Cone Park is not responsible for any injuries. This is a tobacco/nicotine and alcohol free event.
