Wednesday night, Merav DJs and Alixir Dance founder Donna Carroll teaches the embodiment class!________________________________
Alixir dance invites you to embody the power and freedom of movement—when bodies, minds and spirits gather in a fun, community-minded dance experience.
EMBODIMENT CLASS
From 7:00-7:30 pm, join the (optional) pre-dance embodiment class. This is a chance to warm-up, drop in, and learn new ways to navigate the dance floor while deepening your connection with others. There will be connection exercises with the group and with others, but this is not a contact improv class.
THE ECSTATIC DANCE EXPERIENCE
From 7:30-9:30 pm, challenge your body and recharge your spirit with a live DJ'd ecstatic dance. We complete the evening with a guided meditation.

There are no steps to learn, and no way to do it wrong. No rhythm? No problem! Our culture is inclusive of everyone.
ABOUT THE DJ
DJ Merav picks you up and sets you in the groove captivated with delicious selections of styles over flavorful depths of layered dance genres. Passionate and professional, DJ Merav's turntable prowess has never disappointed her audience. Hypnotized by her sound, poise and widespread appeal, with a style and sound of her own, DJ Merav got her start on radio shows and hosted her own slot on 90.3 FM Honolulu. She has toured for events and guest appearances along the West Coast, Canada and Israel as well as a regular for hot spots in Hawaii and California. A dancer and a DJ, Merav nourishes her insatiable love for creating Ecstatic Dance journeys. ABOUT THE EMBODIMENT CLASS INSTRUCTOR
Donna Carroll is founder and CEO of ALIXIR DANCE, formerly Ecstatic Dance International, which she cofounded in 2008. Donna has a B.A. in Fashion Design from Kent State University and spent seven years designing apparel for Target, Talbots, Lane Bryant and May Company. She’s also a certified Kundalini Yoga and AcroYoga teacher, as well as a Trauma Sensitive HeartMath Practitioner. She has designed and produced thousands of dance events across the USA, Mexico, Central America and Europe. She has also produced conscious concerts for stars including Porangui and Ayla Nereo.
