One System. All Weapons.Join us on the first Saturday of every month for a unique 3-hour training experience in Fort Worth. ALIVE! Core Skills is not your typical “kick and punch” self-defense class. Instead, it’s a complete system that shows you how to safely and responsibly use knives, pistols, and empty-hand tactics together in real-world scenarios.
Each workshop is beginner-friendly and designed to adapt to the people in the room. If you’re brand new, you’ll learn at a safe and accessible pace. If you already have training experience, you’ll be challenged with deeper application and realistic practice. The focus of the class changes each month, following a rotating curriculum built around the most common self-defense situations people actually face. From dealing with close-range encounters to surviving ground fights with or against weapons, every session gives you tools you can immediately apply.
All training equipment, including knives, training pistols, and safety gear, is provided. You only need comfortable clothing and an open mind. Each month builds on the last, but every class also stands alone, so you can start anytime.
ALIVE! is about more than learning moves. It’s about building confidence, sharpening awareness, and knowing you can take care of yourself and those around you when it matters most.
